The funds which enabled the Yemeni participation at the Biennale Architettura 2016 was raised by targeted fundraising as well as crowd funding. Crowd funding was started within the private and professional network of the team, the supporters and partners. Anyone interested to support the initiative in cash was invited to transfer an amount to the bank account of the initiative (see details of the bank account below) or to donate through gofundmehelpyementovenice.  Donations through gofundme were reduced by 5 %. For any other kind of support persons were invited to contact us in English as well as in Arabic through the contact form.

Donations received amounted to € 13.335,09 as per 3-10-2016. Expense made amounted to € 23.948,38 as per 3-10-2016. The funds received were used to cover expense related to: the location of the Yemen Pavilion in the Arsenale, the website and part of the expense made by the Istituto Veneto Per I Beni Culturali (production and installation of the exhibition). All the work was done on a voluntary basis and the hours of the Istituto Veneto Per I Beni Culturali (IVBC) spent before and during the exhibition are borne by the IVBC.

As funds received did not cover all the expense a renewed targeted fundraising has been started. Anyone interested to support the Yemen Pavilion  in cash is invited to transfer an amount to the bank account of the initiative (see details of the bank account below) or to donate through gofundme last call: support Yemen Pavilion.
